My name is Oliver Jung, and I am running to be your next Vice President Internal of the Science Undergraduate Society. I have dedicated my past two years at UBC as a part of SUS, as the current Associate Vice President Internal as well as a former General Officer. I have always been committed to improving the Society as a whole, constantly seeking ways to enhance SUS to become more open and inviting to all Science students by embracing transparency and inclusivity. I am passionate about continuing the work of last year’s executive team and improving the Science Undergraduate Society, one step at a time.

My platform consists of five pillars:

I. Unification of all SUS volunteers through the formation of the HR Volunteer Committee
II. Re-introduction of the SUS newsletter
III. Reduction of costs to the Executive and Council retreats
IV. Reinforcement of transition report creation to establish more stable and secure transitions
V. Re-establishment of the First Year Committee

I would encourage you to please check out my campaign website at http://bit.ly/2nUHcmi to read my full platform. Thank you very much for your support, and I hope to represent you next year as your Vice President Internal!
