Book a Meeting Room

As a Science student, the meeting rooms of Abdul Lahda Science Student Centre are available to be booked for your own personal use (studying, group work, meetings)

Please clean up the rooms after use, and be mindful of your voice (ie. don’t shout but talk normally) as the meeting rooms are also located in the Quiet Study Area of the building. 

The room bookings system for this room is currently down and should be fixed shortly. For now, this room will be walk-in, first come first served, pending availability from internal bookings. Please check availability to see if it is available for use.

Building bookings must be made 3 weeks in advance. 

Building bookings are on a first-come first-serve basis, but in the case that 2 groups want to book for the same day there is a priority list. 

After filling out the booking request form, within 2-3 business days, you should receive an email from the Building Manager of Bookings (bmanager.bookings@sus.ubc.ca), in which an invoice along with the booking contract and additional forms (such as the SOL) will be sent out. You will be given due dates for payment and the time in which forms need to be signed and sent back. Please pay attention to the dates accordingly otherwise your booking may be compromised.

Ancillary Fees:

2 Porch bookings include free access to tent & a table. 

*All weekend bookings will be charged for a minimum of 2 hours rental. 

**If the booking part is a charity, they may apply to the Building Manager to have up to 50% of their fee donated to their charity in the name of the Science Undergraduate Society.
